Til ke laddu is simple and healthy round shaped indian sweet made with the combination of sesame seeds and jaggery.  It is prepared especially during sakat chauth or during makar sankranti in India as a offering to god and goddess.

This ladoo can be prepared either with black sesame seeds or white, but here i have used them in combination just to look them beautiful and eye catching.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup Black Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup White Sesame seeds
  • 1 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Dry Fruit Powder

  • 3/4 cup Black Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup White Sesame seeds
  • 1 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbsp Dry Fruit Powder
Instructions
  1. Dry roast black and white sesame seeds on a medium flame.
  2. In a pan take jaggery and water. Keeping the flame on low stir well and dissolve jaggery. further boil the jaggery syrup for 5 minutes. Now drop the jaggery syrup into a bowl of water and try to make a ball. If it does form ball, these means that we have got the desired consistency.
  3. Switch off the flame and add roasted sesame seeds and mix well.
  4. Now add dry fruit powder and mix well.
  5. Now allow to cool for 5 minutes or till the mixture thickens.
  6. Grease hand with little ghee and prepare balls of size of your choice.
  7. Serve til ladoo or store in a airtight container and enjoy for a month.
