Healthy Sundae


Healthy Sundae is one of the Fusion cuisines. Fusion cuisine is one that combines elements of different culinary traditions. Cuisines of this type are not categorised according to any one particular cuisine style and have played a part in a number of innovations.

Healthy-Sundae-Icecream

Ingredients:

Almonds chopped as required
Pistachios chopped as required
Vanilla Ice cream – 2 Scoops
Chocolate Icecream – 3 Scoops
Oats – 6-8 tsp
Chocolate syrup – 4 Tbsp
Banana – 1 small banana cut in round shape
Strawberry – 8 pieces cut in round shape

Preparation Method:

  1. Slightly roast the oats for 1 minutes, to remove any moisture in oats.
  2. Place 3-4 tablespoons oats in a glass.
  3. Drizzle 2 Tbsp chocolate syrup.
  4. Top it up with banana and strawberry.
  5. Add almond and pistachio.
  6. Top it up with vanilla ice cream.
  7. Top again with remaining oats, chocolate syrup, fruits, some almonds and some pistachio.
  8. Finally Top with chocolate ice cream.
  9. Garnish with some more pistachios and almonds and serve immediately.
