Cucumber Raita – How to Make Cucumber Raita


Cucumber Raita is a variation of raita that can be used as a dip or a salad. It is made by mixing together freshly chopped cucumber, green chillies (optional) and curd or yogurt, and optionally finely chopped tomato and onion. Its a cool fresh raita that takes seconds to make.

Ingredients:

Cucumber – 2 Small
Curd – 1 cup
Salt to taste
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp Coarsely Crushed

Preparation Method:

  1. Wash, Peel and grate the cucumber.
  2. In a Bowl take the grated cucumber. Add curd, Salt and cumin powder. Mix well.
  3. Serve Chilled with any types of Biryani or with Dal & Rice.
